DO NOT RECYCLE THIS CONTAINER

This packaging design was part of a 48-hour student challenge for the Institute of Packaging Professionals. The objective: promote recycling and encourage others to become more Earth-friendly. The package is made of 100% compostable material, with embossed typography and vegetable oil ink printing techniques. The tactic behind this design: recylcing is not required at all to go green. Because it is 100% compostable, the container can be tossed directly in the trash, taking away the inconvenience and extra steps. No blue bins, no worries. The design can be applied to all packaging, revolutionizing the packaging industry. Consumers and manufacturers become more eco-friendly without the added effort.
