DEFTONES ALBUM PACKAGING

Deftones have owned the world of hard rock since 1988. Their distorted riffs and defying drum beats prove they are not afraid to experiment with different sounds. For The Acoustic Experiment, I tackled the challenge of creating an acoustic-based album without losing the Deftone's heavy-rock personality. The imagery features a complete clean acoustic guitar, and then the same guitar smashed to pieces. The visual represents the journey taken to create an album, that Deftones still carries the Deftones attitude through acoustic sound, without going soft.
